Collapsible Aluminum Step
The customer needed extra elevation getting in and out of SUV’s. The step she was using was made from wood, but it was heavy and did not collapse.
Here’s the step I designed and fabricated.
The first step is 9″deep x 26″ wide x 5″ off the ground when open. The top step is 10″ deep x 26″ wide x 10″ off the ground when open.
Except for the hardward, the step is completely made from aluminum. This makes it easily handled.
The step’s surface is covered with a non-slip paint. My customer requested that I include my logo on the steps.

It was a custom step built to my customers specs. I can build a step to your specs if you need one.

My niece was going to be travelling with us in our SUV and it was not only difficult for her to get in and out, but the wooden step she had been using was bulky and took up a lot of luggage space. John worked with us to develop the perfect solution to this dilemma, we carried it all over Arizona and my niece now has it in the trunk of her own car for use when travelling with friends. And, it is her favorite color!
